A typeface for cross-media application
– Picking the right typeface for the identity foundation was essential.
Loppebølgen has a wide array of communication touchpoints, demanding a legible and recognizable typeface.
The choice of typeface fell on Program. The type is inviting and soft – but most importantly, legible – even from across the room.

A flexible logo system
To accommodate the many touchpoints, a flexible logo system was needed.
For the logotype, each character was carefully kerned and softened. In addition, a custom Ø was created to enhance the overall logo usage by supplying a stand-alone symbol already associated with sustainability.
In addition, hundreds of mini-icons were created, all handpicked items you could find on the shelves. These icons are used to enhance the Ø-symbol and can be used for in-store or online sectioning.
